CyberLeek: Everything We Know About The Group Dumping Alleged GTA 6 Gameplay

Clips since August 18. A manifesto. A meme coin. Take Two in court. A seventh wave after the site went dark. We do not host a frame of the stolen footage.

A group calling itself CyberLeek has been dumping alleged GTA 6 gameplay since August 18. Rockstar has not confirmed a frame of it.

You have seen the clips in your feed. Jason shooting hoops. A map image. A wall with LEEK punched in with bullets. A hypercar run. That wall shot is why people argue this is a playable build, not a stolen trailer folder.

We are a community site. This is the story everyone is arguing about. Here is the record, tagged as watch, not as gospel.

Who they say they are

CyberLeek is an unidentified person or group. Reporting across Mashable, Polygon, and Eurogamer says it is not clear if this is one operator or several. They present as a consumer revolt. Watermarks on the clips push gamers rights language and a Solana coin.

They say they operate only a website and a Telegram channel. Accounts on X, Discord, and Instagram using the name should be treated as impersonators until proven otherwise.

There is no proven link to ShinyHunters. Jason Schreier at Bloomberg reported that Rockstar still did not know who this is as of August 21.

Lucia and Jason — Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval in official promo art. CyberLeek clips claim to show the same pair in playable sessions. Rockstar has not authenticated those clips.

The clock

August 18: first videos and a claimed full map of Leonida hit the internet.
August 19: more footage. Watermark line against physical disc policy.
August 20: Jason flies a plane, then shoots LEEK into a wall. That clip fuels the playable build argument.
August 21: Bloomberg says Rockstar staff are furious and still have no ID. Hypercar clip circulates. Forbes describes a Truffade style carjack with a drag out step.
August 22: website goes dark. Telegram shows copyright infringement. Eurogamer reports a seventh clip still lands after the takedown. Strip club teaser chatter follows on social.
August 23: we update this file. Extended Look is still Thursday on Netflix at 3 p.m. Eastern.

Jason Duval in an official Rockstar still. Alleged CyberLeek footage centers on Jason in the Keys, in the air, and behind the wheel. Treat every frame as unverified.

What the clips claim to show

Jason playing basketball at a Keys style house
Driving, fighting, stealing a car, wanted stars
Taser use on NPCs
A claimed full map of Leonida
A biplane pass over Vice City
Shooting the word LEEK into a wall
Hypercar run and a more involved carjack on a Truffade style car
Healing item chatter under the name Zombix in community roundups
Polygon reporting: the six star wanted system appears to be back
Seventh wave after the site takedown, including more driving and strip area claims on social

Insider Gaming and NateTheHate have said metadata on some clips looks old, maybe 2024 or 2025. Even if the clips are real, they may not match the November 19 build.

Vice City location art from Rockstar. CyberLeek also pushed a claimed full map of Leonida. Wait for Thursday before you redraw the state.

The manifesto

No digital only preorders framed as a manufacturing limit problem
No paid add ons that unlock single player content already in the game
No killing single player when the servers die

Stop Killing Games publicly rejected this approach. Using illegal means to make a point is unacceptable to us, they said.

The coin

CyberLeek launched a Solana meme coin, $CYBERLEEK. Holders vote with tokens on which clip drops next. Mashable put early fully diluted value in the low millions range, with top wallets holding a large share of supply.

They offered paid ad slots. You can hate digital only boxes and still clock this as a pump.

Lucia Caminos in official media. She is the other half of the dual lead the leaks keep circling. Official confirmation of any leaked session still sits at zero.

Take Two hits back

Copyright strikes are pulling copies of the videos down.
Subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord. Deadline reported as September 4.
Website offline the morning of August 22.
Telegram marked unavailable for copyright infringement.
Strauss Zelnick has said he is not worried the legal fight will dent GTA 6 sales.
Rockstar has issued no public authentication of the footage.
Seventh clip reports after the hub takedown show the file pipeline is not fully shut.

What we will not do

Vice City News will not embed, host, or restage CyberLeek clips. We will not help a coin. We will keep a running casefile until Thursday, when Rockstar speaks on Netflix at 3 p.m. Eastern.
